Everlab Review Australia 2026: Cost, Tests, Worth It? – Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg bottle

Last updated: September 25, 2026 · Originally published: August 20, 2026 · By Eternal Elixir Editorial

Everlab review in short: Everlab is a Melbourne-founded preventive health service that pairs blood tests and scans with doctor reviews in an app. It starts with a $299 Health Baseline. Most people then move to the $900 Diagnostics Plan or the $2,700 Protocol Plan, with scans and genetic tests priced on top. It suits people with a specific question for a doctor, such as a strong family history or a result they want explained. It is poor value if you are well, at no particular risk and mostly curious: general health checks in healthy adults have not been shown to lower the risk of dying early, and whole-body scans often turn up findings that need more tests.

If what you want is something to take every day for healthy ageing, rather than a set of results, our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg. It has 90 capsules at 500mg each for $59.99, which works out to $0.67 a day.

Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg and the other capsules covered near the end of this article. We don’t sell health testing and offer nothing like Everlab’s program. Every Everlab price and inclusion below comes from Everlab’s own pages, checked in September 2026. We have not bought an Everlab program, so this is an analysis of what is on offer and what the research says, not a personal account.

Everlab review: what you actually get for your money

Everlab was founded in Melbourne in 2023. It works through an app. You book tests at partner pathology and imaging sites, and Everlab’s doctors, dietitians and physios go through the results with you. Everlab says it works with more than 1,850 diagnostic facilities around Australia, so you don’t need to live in Melbourne to use it.

In June 2026 Everlab announced a AU$65 million Series A funding round led by Airtree Ventures, and said it had completed more than 40,000 consultations for 20,000 patients since launch.

The program runs in three steps.

  • Health Baseline ($299). Everlab gathers five or more years of your existing Australian medical records, runs an AI-assisted risk analysis and books a 30-minute consult with one of its doctors. Everlab says the baseline is fully refundable if you are not happy with the outcome, subject to its terms.
  • A custom plan. The doctor suggests tests from a menu of more than 100, and you choose which ones to buy. Nothing is locked in at this point.
  • Testing, review and follow-up. Everlab says most people finish their first round of testing within 2 to 4 weeks. A doctor then goes through the results and gives you an action plan covering exercise, nutrition and supplements. The Protocol Plan adds repeat testing later in the year.

You don’t need a GP referral to join. Everlab’s FAQ says the program is not available if you are under 18, pregnant, undergoing cancer treatment or unable to travel to a diagnostic lab.

Scans are reported by radiologists and then interpreted by Everlab’s GPs. That doctor layer, plus the app that keeps your results and history in one place, is the main thing you pay for. The blood tests and scans themselves are done at partner pathology and imaging sites.

Everlab cost in Australia: the 2026 prices

How much is Everlab? It depends on what you add. The table below lists Everlab’s published prices. Everlab’s FAQ says any Medicare-covered tests are already included in the price, and that the price you pay is your total out-of-pocket cost.

Everlab optionPrice (AUD, as of Sep 2026)What Everlab says is included
Health Baseline$299Records gathering (5+ years), AI risk analysis, a consult with a doctor (30 minutes), app access
Diagnostics Plan$900100+ biomarkers, DEXA scan, heart health assessment including ApoB, “organ age” insights, doctor review (45 minutes), action plan, a short review at the end of the year
Protocol Plan (marked “most popular”)$2,700130+ biomarkers, DEXA scan, ApoB, physical assessment with VO₂ max (90 minutes), dietitian nutrition assessment, repeat testing of key biomarkers, doctor reviews

Much of the extra cost sits in the add-ons. These are Everlab’s à la carte prices:

Extra testPrice (AUD, as of Sep 2026)What it is
ApoE Genetic Test$249Identifies your ApoE variant (e2, e3 or e4)
Nutrition Review$279A session with an Accredited Practising Dietitian
Skin Check+$279A skin exam of the whole body with total body photography
DEXA Pro Scan$299Bone density, lean mass and visceral fat
Pharmacogenetics Blood Test$349How your genes affect your response to some medicines
DNA Methylation Test$499An epigenetic “biological age” readout from saliva
Physical and VO₂ max$499A physical assessment (90 minutes) with physios and coaches
Full Advanced Bloods$598A blood panel of 65 biomarkers with doctor review
CT Calcium Score$699A CT scan with a low radiation dose that scores calcium in the heart’s arteries

Genetic Health Test$1,399Saliva test of 180+ genes with a genetic counsellor
CTCA Heart Scan$1,4993D CT scan of the coronary arteries
Full Body MRI$2,999 or $3,499 (both appeared on Everlab’s page), with a $199 depositMRI of the whole body plus a chest CT at a very low radiation dose, read by a radiologist and an Everlab doctor

Everlab also publishes three example plans based on real patients: $978 for a 34-year-old new dad wanting a thorough check-up, $1,898 for a 57-year-old focused on metabolic health, and $3,898 for a 42-year-old who wanted perimenopause guidance and wider screening. Those examples are the most useful answer to “how much does Everlab cost”. Plan on a four-figure bill once tests are added, not $299.

Before you pay, ask two cost questions. Does the plan include follow-up if a result is unclear? And who pays for the referrals, repeat scans or specialist visits a finding might lead to? Everlab’s own footnote says screening “may lead to additional investigations”, and its plan pages don’t say those investigations are covered by the plan price.

What Everlab reviews from customers say

Everlab reviews on Trustpilot are strongly positive. When we checked in September 2026, Everlab had a TrustScore of 4.7 out of 5 from 267 reviews, with 93% five-star and 3% one-star. The positive reviews we read praise doctors who explained results clearly, friendly staff and an easy app. The critical ones we read were about an app bug that blocked booking and a charge that a reviewer said had not been explained.

Customer ratings measure the experience: booking, communication, and how well a doctor explained a result. They can’t tell you whether the testing changed anyone’s long-term health. Google’s top result for “Everlab review” in Australia is a thread on r/ausjdocs, a Reddit forum for Australian junior doctors, titled “Everlab is insanity”. Doctors are divided on this style of screening, and the research below shows why.

Everlab’s own headline figure is that more than 25% of members have had findings flagged that the existing healthcare system had missed. That is a count of findings. It says nothing about outcomes. A flagged finding can matter a great deal. It can also be harmless and still lead to more tests, and that trade-off has been measured.

What the research says about screening healthy adults

Two bodies of evidence apply here: randomised trials of general health checks, and studies of whole-body MRI in people without symptoms.

General health checks. A 2019 Cochrane review by Krogsbøll, Jørgensen and Gøtzsche pooled randomised trials that compared health checks with no health checks in adults who were not selected for any disease or risk factor. It included 17 trials, 15 of which reported outcomes, covering 251,891 participants. Health checks made little or no difference to deaths from any cause (risk ratio 1.00), and the review found no clear effect on deaths from cancer or heart disease. The authors concluded that general health checks are unlikely to be beneficial (Krogsbøll et al., Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, 2019).

That review has limits. Its trials tested standard health checks, and none tested a program like Everlab’s, with ApoB, DEXA and doctor follow-up in an app. So it doesn’t prove Everlab is useless. It does mean no trial has shown that broad screening of healthy people helps them live longer, and the provider carries the burden of showing its version is different.

Whole-body MRI. Robert Kwee and Thomas Kwee’s 2019 systematic review in the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging pooled 12 studies covering 5,373 adults without symptoms who had whole-body MRI. Across the studies, 32.1% had a critical or indeterminate incidental finding. In the six studies that reported false positives, the pooled share was 16.0%. None followed up negative scans for more than five years, so how often whole-body MRI misses something is largely unknown (Kwee & Kwee, J Magn Reson Imaging, 2019).

The practical lesson: the value of testing depends on your risk before the test. If you have a strong family history, symptoms nobody has explained, or a result a GP has already flagged, broad testing has something to work with. If you’re healthy and in your thirties, the likely result is reassurance, with a real chance of an ambiguous finding that costs more to settle. Everlab’s own footnote says as much: speak with your doctor about whether screening is appropriate for you.

Our longevity supplement evidence index applies the same test to supplements, putting what the human trials show ahead of what the label promises.

Everlab review: who it suits, and who should skip it

“Is it good?” is a less useful question than “will a result change what I do?” Ask these before you book anything at this price.

What decision will this test change? If you already know you need more sleep, more strength training and fewer processed foods, a $2,700 panel that confirms it is an expensive way to buy motivation. If you are weighing a specific choice with your doctor, or managing a family history and want coronary imaging, the test has a job to do.

Who handles follow-up, and who pays? Ask whether follow-up consults, repeat imaging and referrals sit inside your plan or cost extra. That is where the real total usually hides.

Will you keep up the daily basics as well? Testing measures where you are. Sleep, training, food and a considered supplement routine are what you change afterwards. Spending heavily on the first while skipping the second gets the order wrong.

Everlab suits you if

  • you have a specific question for a doctor, such as a strong family history or a marker your GP has already flagged
  • you want coronary imaging, a DEXA scan or genetic testing arranged and explained in one place
  • you like the idea of your medical records pulled together and tracked in an app
  • the cost won’t squeeze out what you spend on food, training and sleep

Skip it, or start smaller, if

  • money is tight, since a realistic plan runs to four figures
  • an unclear result would leave you more anxious than you are now
  • your real problem is sticking to habits, and more data won’t change that
  • you mainly want standard bloods, which a GP can order when there’s a clinical reason

If you are weighing up longevity supplement companies rather than clinics, our DoNotAge review, Renue By Science review and breakdown of AgeMate reviews apply the same approach to brands you can buy in Australia.

Alternatives to Everlab in Australia

What are the alternatives to Everlab in Australia? The testing options below do different jobs, so they are listed side by side rather than ranked.

Your GPDepends on the practice and the testsA consult, plus blood tests or scans ordered when there is a clinical reasonAnyone with a specific concern, and most people as a first step

HealthScreen says its prices apply to its Hampton East clinic and that Medicare and private health insurance rebates are not available for its programs. It publishes its own Everlab comparison page, which is worth reading as a competitor’s view rather than a neutral one.

For many people the GP is the sensible first step. Tell your doctor what worries you, and ask which tests make sense for your age and history. If you then want more than a GP will order, Everlab and HealthScreen are the two main private routes.

Where supplements fit alongside biomarker testing

Testing tells you where you stand. Supplements are one of the things people change afterwards, alongside sleep, training and food. They are no substitute for medical testing or advice, and the human evidence for most longevity supplements is still early. Here is what the better human trials show for two that come up often in longevity plans.

NMN: what the human trials show

Yi and colleagues randomised 80 healthy middle-aged adults to placebo or 300mg, 600mg or 900mg of NMN once a day for 60 days. Blood NAD rose in every NMN group compared with placebo and baseline at day 30 and day 60, and was highest in the 600mg and 900mg groups. Six-minute walking distance improved more in the NMN groups than with placebo, and there were no safety problems. Three of the authors were employees of chemical companies, which the paper declares (Yi et al., GeroScience, 2023).

Igarashi and colleagues gave healthy older men in Japan 250mg of NMN a day or placebo for 6 or 12 weeks. Blood NAD and related metabolites rose. Gait speed and left-hand grip strength showed nominally significant gains that the authors said need confirming in larger studies, and body composition did not change (Igarashi et al., npj Aging, 2022).

What hasn’t been shown: no human trial has shown that NMN extends lifespan or changes long-term health outcomes. The lifespan results you see quoted come from mice, and mouse results don’t tell you what happens in people. Our guide to the best NMN supplements in Australia compares the brands on dose and cost per serve.

Spermidine: a 12-month trial with a null result

In the SmartAge trial, 100 adults aged 60 to 90 who had noticed changes in their memory took either a wheat-germ spermidine supplement (0.9mg a day) or placebo for 12 months. Memory and the measured biomarkers did not differ significantly between the groups. Exploratory analyses hinted at effects on verbal memory and inflammation, which the authors said need testing at higher doses (Schwarz et al., JAMA Network Open, 2022).

Eternal Elixir Spermidine has 10mg per capsule, well above the dose that trial used, but we know of no published trial of health outcomes at that dose. Our comparison of the best spermidine supplements in Australia sets out what each brand’s label actually contains.

At $0.67 a capsule, a year of NMN at one capsule a day comes to about $245 at the price of one bottle. Multi-bottle orders bring that down: 10% off two bottles, 15% off three and 20% off five. That is less than a third of the Diagnostics Plan. The two do different jobs, since one measures and the other is part of what you do each day. If your budget only stretches to one this year, be clear about which job you are paying for.

If you want NMN and spermidine together, the Cellular Longevity Stack adds trans-pterostilbene for $139.99, which is $24.98 less than buying the three separately. Our longevity supplement stack guide explains how the pieces fit together, and the best longevity supplements in Australia covers the wider market. Our verdict on Everlab

Everlab is a real doctor-led testing service with clear published prices and strong customer ratings. It is worth the money when you have a question a test can answer: a family history, a flagged marker, or a decision you and a doctor need data for. It is hard to justify for a healthy, curious adult on a budget, because broad screening hasn’t been shown to extend life and incidental findings are common. If you’re unsure, start with your GP.

For daily support rather than diagnostics, our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: 500mg per capsule, 90 capsules per bottle and $0.67 a day, shipped from Sydney within 24 hours. You can also browse the full Eternal Elixir range.

Everlab FAQ: frequently asked questions

Is Everlab worth the money?

It depends on your starting point. Everlab is worth it if you have a specific question for a doctor, a relevant family history or a marker your GP has already flagged, and the cost won’t crowd out the daily basics. It is poor value if you are healthy and simply curious, because the most likely results are reassurance or an ambiguous finding that leads to more tests.

How much does Everlab cost?

As of September 2026, Everlab lists a $299 Health Baseline, a $900 Diagnostics Plan and a $2,700 Protocol Plan. Add-ons run from $249 for an ApoE genetic test up to $2,999 or $3,499 for a full-body MRI (both prices appeared on Everlab’s page), which needs a $199 deposit. Everlab’s example patient plans come to $978, $1,898 and $3,898.

Is Everlab covered by Medicare?

Not as a rebate you claim afterwards. Everlab’s FAQ says any Medicare-covered tests are already included in its prices, and the price you pay is the total out-of-pocket cost. Its pricing pages don’t mention private health insurance, so ask your fund before you book.

How long has Everlab been around?

Everlab was founded in Melbourne in 2023. In June 2026 it announced a AU$65 million Series A round led by Airtree Ventures, and it says it operates across Australia and New Zealand.

Where is Everlab in Australia?

Everlab is available Australia-wide. Its Melbourne practice is listed at 517 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000. Tests are done at more than 1,850 partner pathology and imaging sites, and you book the one nearest you through the app. The physical assessment in the Protocol Plan happens at an Everlab clinic or a partner provider.

What are the alternatives to Everlab in Australia?

The main private alternative is HealthScreen, which runs in-person diagnostic days in Melbourne and Sydney from $3,500. Your own GP can order blood tests and scans when there’s a clinical reason. For the daily side rather than testing, a cheaper route is GP bloodwork plus a consistent routine built from the best NAD+ supplements in Australia.

Do you need a referral for Everlab?

No. Everlab’s FAQ says you don’t need a doctor’s referral to join the program. If a result needs a specialist, Everlab’s medical team arranges the referral.

Can Everlab tell me which supplements to take?

Everlab’s Diagnostics and Protocol plans include a personalised action plan that covers supplements along with exercise and nutrition. Tell the Everlab doctor about everything you already take before your blood tests, since some supplements can change certain results. If NMN ends up on your list, ours has 500mg per capsule and 90 capsules per bottle.
