Longevity supplement statistics Australia 2026

Last reviewed: 30 September 2026 · Reviewed every quarter, next review due by 5 January 2027 · By Eternal Elixir Editorial

This page brings together two sets of numbers: how much human research exists for 16 longevity and nootropic compounds sold in Australia, and what Eternal Elixir’s own order records show about how customers buy them. Each figure gives its source, sample size, date range and method.

None of these figures is a health outcome. Trial counts measure how much research exists, not whether a compound works, and the store data describes buying behaviour only.

Human research: headline figures

These come from the Longevity Supplement Evidence Index, which counts PubMed records for 16 compounds. Counts were retrieved on 27 September 2026, and the index lists every query so the numbers can be re-run.

FigureValue (27 September 2026)
Human randomised controlled trials (RCTs) across the 16 compounds1,728
Human clinical trials of any design2,172
Systematic reviews or meta-analyses666
Human RCTs published in 2021 or later472 (27%)
Compounds with no indexed human clinical trial2 of 16 (turkesterone and Fadogia agrestis)
Share of all PubMed records on these compounds that are human RCTs1.8% of 97,592
Human RCTs for NMN17 (16 published in 2021 or later)
Human RCTs for nicotinamide riboside (NR)31
Most-trialled compoundGlutathione, 571 human RCTs (many study uses other than an oral supplement)

The index explains why glutathione, oral hyaluronic acid and methylene blue counts include research on uses other than oral supplements, and sorts each compound into an evidence band.

Our store data

The figures below are aggregates from Eternal Elixir’s WooCommerce order records, read on 30 September 2026. They cover paid website orders (processing or completed, above A$0, placed through the website checkout, in Australian dollars) from 28 February 2025 to 30 September 2026: 879 orders from 696 customers. Amazon orders aren’t included. No personal details are published.

How long customers take to reorder a product

Method: for each product, we took customers (matched by billing email) who bought it in two separate orders at least a day apart, and measured the days from their first order to their second. We show products with at least 10 such customers. Samples are small, so treat these as indications rather than settled figures.

ProductOne bottle at the suggested useCustomers who reorderedMedian days to 2nd orderMedian bottles in 1st orderMedian days if 1st order was 1 bottle
NMN 500mg90 capsules, 1 a day: 90 days24110.5297.8 (n = 10)
TUDCA 500mg90 capsules, 1 a day: 90 days1283.8176.9 (n = 7)
Methylene Blue Capsules 10mg60 capsules, 1 a day: 60 days2982.0258.5 (n = 14)
Methylene Blue Liquid 1%50 ml at 0.5–1 ml a day: 50–100 days12162.51173.8 (n = 8)

Customers whose first NMN order was a single 90-capsule bottle reordered after a median of 98 days, close to one bottle’s 90-day supply. Most NMN repeat buyers started with two bottles, which is why the overall median is longer. For methylene blue capsules, single-bottle buyers reordered after a median of 58.5 days against a 60-day bottle.

Across all products, 110 of 696 customers (16%) have ordered more than once. The median gap between a customer’s first and second order was 94.6 days (n = 100; repeat orders placed on the same day are excluded).

How many products are in an order

  • 20.5% of orders (180 of 879) contained two or more different products. A Stack counts as one product.
  • 68.0% of orders (598 of 879) contained two or more bottles, including several bottles of the same product.

Method: product lines and quantities on each order, 28 February 2025 to 30 September 2026.

Stacks’ share of revenue

  • 7.2% of product revenue since the first Stack order on 5 July 2026, from 15 of 339 orders (4.4%).
  • 2.8% of product revenue across all orders since 28 February 2025.

Method: order line totals after discounts, excluding shipping. The three Stacks are counted as their own products.

Top compounds by bottles sold, last 90 days

Method: bottles sold between 2 July and 30 September 2026 (350 orders). Each Stack is counted as its three bottles under their compounds.

RankCompound (product)Bottles

2NMN with resveratrol (NMN & Resveratrol 1100mg)162
3Methylene blue (capsules 81, drops 43)124
4TUDCA (TUDCA 500mg)118
5Shilajit (Shilajit 1000mg)59
6Tongkat ali (Tongkat Ali 200:1)49
7Glutathione (Reduced L-Glutathione 2000mg)48

Together, the two NMN products made up 367 of the bottles sold in this period.

Time from order to dispatch

  • 18.0 hours median from payment to dispatch.
  • 67% of orders dispatched within 24 hours, and 89% within 48 hours.
  • 94% dispatched by the end of the next business day (Monday to Friday; public holidays not excluded).
  • 75th percentile 27.9 hours; 90th percentile 48.6 hours.

Method: 289 orders paid between 10 July and 29 September 2026, the period for which orders carry an Australia Post tracking record. Dispatch is the time the order was marked shipped with its tracking number. Hours are calendar hours, so weekend orders count their weekend.
